And just like that, everything is quiet.
It’s been a solid July with three different youth camps on site at any given time. In the past three weeks we have hosted over 500 guests!
The weekend has been full of tearful goodbyes, and proud children showing their parent’s around our grounds. We are so thrilled to be afacility for learning, for growth, and life-long inspiration to the youth who visit… “Goldeye Magic”
As a staff we are sorry to see these faces leave, but look forward to the stillness of the next few days before we welcome new groups, old friends, and wedding celebrations, to the Centre.
The lull in our calendar couldn’t come at a better time, as this upcoming long weekend we are one of the many proud community sponsors for Nordegg Days. One of our program staff members is competing in the Miner’s Cafe pie eating contest, and if that isn’t enough to bring you out, there will be a free pancake breakfast and BBQ dinner on Saturday! Along with several other events (), our manager Barbara Rilling, is taking advantage of this opportunity in order to host a garage sale at her house over the weekend. So stop by, say ‘Hello’ and come enjoy all the action!
