Here are some things you might want to know before your stay at Goldeye.

Sleeping arrangements
Campers that stay in our bunk houses are required to bring their own bedding (usually a sleeping bag and pillow).  Toilets and showers are located in the washhouse (separate facilities for boys and girls, complete with private shower stalls). Kids will need to bring their own towels for the shower as well as toiletries.

In addition to using the bunk houses some groups also use some of our other accommodations depending on group size and budget.

Meals and snacks
All meals will be served in your designated dining hall. Meal times will be determined by each individual camp.

If you have any special dietary needs or restrictions, please contact your camp organization to make special arrangements. Our kitchen is flexible and can accommodate most requests.

Snacks may be purchased at the Canteen. Depending on your camp’s rules, you may also be allowed to bring snacks from home.

We have a selection of personal items including tooth brushes, paste, shampoo, soap, first-aid supplies etc. in the Office/Canteen if you forgot something at home.  Coin-operated laundry facilities are available in Howden House.

Activities
The activities you participate in will depend on what camp you go to. All activities are safely supervised by our team and follow safety standards and procedures.

Activities and rules might vary slightly depending on which camp you are attending. If your child is attending a camp at Goldeye, we suggest you contact the organization hosting the camp for more information on what to expect.

If you have any questions about your camp stay at Goldeye, we recommend taking a look at our Camp FAQ page, or contacting the organization hosting the camp. If you have questions about our facilities, policies, or anything else specific to the Goldeye Centre, please contact us.
