The Goldeye Foundation is a corporately sponsored non-profit organization that was set up to help support the Goldeye Centre. The Goldeye Centre works to provide Alberta youth outdoor, environmental, and land based education through clubs, schools or summer camp program(s) throughout the year. We instill community and cooperative values to develop the next generation of engaged leaders who understand the value their contributions make to the communities and organizations they live in and serve.
The Goldeye Foundation was established in 1978, twenty years after the Goldeye Centre was founded, and was managed by the ACCA (Alberta Community and Cooperative Association) until the Foundation assumed the role. The Goldeye Foundation is a non-profit organization that serves as the fundraising arm for Goldeye’s operations. The Goldeye Foundation makes it possible for the Goldeye Centre to operate youth programs smoothly, while ensuring that all needs of the physical facility are taken care of to ensure a positive and safe experience is had by all.
The Goldeye foundation is always accepting donations of goods, money, and services to help support the operations of the Goldeye Centre. Volunteering opportunities also exist! For more information on how you can contribute, please contact us or visit our How Your Support Helps page.
