The Goldeye Centre is a beautiful summer retreat located on Goldeye lake and nestled in the Rocky Mountains near Nordegg, Alberta.
The Goldeye Centre was founded in 1958 as a host facility for the Rural Education and Development Association’s (now known as Alberta Community and Cooperative Association) youth camp, and was staffed by volunteers.
Since then, Goldeye Centre has grown and evolved significantly. Now open year-round, fully staffed, and supported by its own Goldeye Foundation, Goldeye Centre continues to host youth camps as well as group and corporate retreats, weddings, family events, and educational and recreational gatherings.
Goldeye can now accommodate over 120 guests at a time in rustically beautiful guesthouses, dormitory-style housing, and bunkhouses. We serve meals and host events in our two fully staffed dining facilities. Our program staff give our guests the experience of a lifetime on our Koda’s Challenge ropes course, climbing wall, giant swing, archery course, sports areas, and lake. Our activities teach teamwork, leadership, and outdoor studies in a way that’s fun and memorable. Guests at Goldeye don’t just enjoy their time here; they walk away with skills, memories, and experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime.
So whether you’re looking for a scenic spot to relax for a weekend, or a high-action adventure, Goldeye has something for you. Give us a call today to start planning your experiences.
