Drop off your little explorer with us for the day and go enjoy the mountains – child free – while they create memories filled with outdoor fun, new friendships, and endless adventure! Nutritious lunch and snacks provided.
Here’s a glimpse into the exciting activities awaiting your child:
Nature Art: Let your children’s imagination run wild as they create masterpieces using natural materials found in the surrounding environment – there’s no limit to the creativity inspired by Mother Nature herself.
Den Building: Your little architects will build their own shelter using branches, leaves, and other natural resources. Through teamwork and problem-solving, they’ll construct cozy hideaways perfect for imaginative play.
Micro World: Unlock the mysteries of the forest like never before! Our miniscopes empower young minds to unravel the secrets hidden in plain sight, fostering a deep appreciation for the environment and inspiring a lifelong passion for nature’s wonders. From the intricate patterns of a leaf’s surface to the bustling activity of tiny insects, every detail of the micro world comes to life in vivid clarity.
Fire Lighting/Wilderness Skills: Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children learn essential bushcraft skills such as fire lighting and outdoor safety. Through hands-on activities, they’ll gain confidence in the wilderness while respecting the natural environment. Fire lighting will involve gathering suitable materials and a 1:1 ratio for lighting.
Canoeing: Take to the water for an unforgettable aquatic adventure! Children will learn basic paddling techniques from our Paddle Canada certified instructors as they explore and play on beautiful Goldeye Lake.
Nature Walk/Scavenger Hunt: Embark on a guided nature walk through the boreal forest. Along the way, young adventurers will discover hidden treasures and fascinating wildlife as they complete engaging scavenger hunt challenges.
Water Play: Cool off and make a splash in the lake! Children will have a blast splashing around and building water confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
